Post- COVID-19, the shift towards social distancing has altered perceptions of “physical contact,” with digital communication becoming more prevalent. However, recognizing the irreplaceable value of physical contact for social beings, I aimed to bridge this gap through a ‘hugging machine’. This innovations strives to convey warmth and re-establish a sense of connection that was briefly severed by the pandemic.
